Managed Efficiently

 

Managing your own building project can be a daunting task especially if you’ve never done it before.  It takes a lot of time, it can be stressful and mistakes can be costly. Every project is unique but the construction principals are similar so our experience and knowledge will ensure your build is managed efficiently and competitively, mistakes are prevented and above all your project is finished to the highest standards. We have a lot of experience working on high end properties and interior design finishes.

Remove Uncertainty

 

Hiring a Project Management team gives you much more control over the build process allowing you to vet and appoint contractors directly rather than paying a main contractor premium.  It also gives you far more flexibly over design and allows you to make changes and agree the specification as works proceed without being held to ransom by a main contractor.  Building contractors charge  a premium for any additional work and changes to the design or specification...hiring a Project Management team removes this uncertainty and ensures that not only do you engage contractors at competitive prices you won't be paying a premium for any changes or additional works.  Samuel James Project Management will have your best interests at heart and will act as Client Representative throughout the build process.

Manage Sub-Contractors

 

Most building contractors use sub-contractors for the main elements of their work and as such charge a markup on the sub-contractors costs which are typically 20%.  By engaging Samuel James Project Management to manage the individual appointments not only will you will save 20% of the overall build cost but you also have a trusted and professional company to help guide you through the process and oversee and manage the contractors on site on your behalf.  Our fees typically work out at 5% of build cost which is significantly less than the 20% margins building contractors charge.
